Beacon Hill Park Victoria

Wildlife abounds in Beacon Hill Park. More than a hundred bird species occur here, along with a number of mammals such as river otters, racoons and squirrels. Sunfish, painted turtles and crayfish make their homes in the waterways.Peacocks roam freely through the park and a petting zoo gives kids and the adults the chance to experience the animals up close and personal. But given my history with emus, i was very careful not to get too up close or personal....and kept it a very enjoyable day.
